Now we are at the end of school time concretly in the last week. This las week is only for people who want to increase their mark or pass some subjects. I want to try to increase some marks because at the begining of the year, the marks were weaker than now and the final mark now is not really high. For this reason I will try to improve some of my subjects, get better marks and in second year of batchillerat try to get a good average from the two years for the selectivity. Then if I get a good mark I will be able to choose what is the best career at university for me.
Titanic is a 1991 American èpic, romantic disaster film written and co-produced by James Cameron and starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose Dewitt Buckater. The film is based on a true story about the biggest cruise in the world and said by the builders to be an unsinkable ship. Unfortunatley the ship crashed into aniceberg and sank killing hundreds of people on its first voyage.
In the film Leonardo DiCaprio falls in love with Kate Winlet and they had their dreams for a life together that never happens because of the terrible accident. The biggest part of the film is people trying to save thenselves. It is a big drama, specially when you see people drowing in the freezing Atlantic Ocean.
I think it was very well made with beautiful music specially the song which became very well known "My heart will go on". Maybe the only part I found a little boring and too long showing how the boat was sinking and people suffering without a change.
This new talks about the outsourcing dirty emissions. The best example is China because rich countries in the West have long turned to China to produce cheap goods and outsourcing dirty emissions. Another example would be Mongolia that produced 80% of CO2 related emissions for goods used in richer areas as Bejing and Shanghai.
As far as I'm concerned, I think that all these rich countries, on the one hand are doing a good action because they employ a lot of people who need money to live and they give them a salary and a job. But, on the other hand, they export their industries outside the country to exploit less developed countries, get more benefit and don't pullute their own country with emissions.
In this last school year, I discover that I have improved a lot, not only in english, also in other subjects. I have learnt a lot because I have practiced a great deal specially with the blog. My posts in the blog were really different because obviously I have matured over this year. My vocabulary has increased thanks to the news that we have had to read and summarize.
The activities that have helped me to learn more was the your-says because are the only part of the blog where we can talk about what we want, is the most personal part of the blog.
In summary, all activities of this year I liked and I have been useful but, especially liked the blog.

good morning, I'm Judith and now I will talk about an issue that
affects us all, the issue is unemployment. To begin I wil explain to
you what is unemployment and after I will explain the causes of this
situation.
What
is unemployment? Well, unemployment is the lack of work and wages,
and with this word has come to our ears the word “crisis”.
In
these last years we heve seen how Sapin has increased its numer of
unemployed and goes into bankruptcy thanks to poor political
management. The lack of work and money has made that there is a great
social unrest. Every day there are some demostrations to protest
against no action haveing taken by the government. The families are
suffering because at least one of two components that brings money to
the family is now unemployed. This is really bad for the country
because, I think that the population will go on decline, because the
families haven't money to hold, in to feed or to educate their
children, therefore people will stop having children.
Actually
this “crisis” affects many areas, for example: education and
health service.
In
education, every time there are more students in the same class and I
think that is an error because after arise problems as it explained
the last day Pau, because the education is really bad.
And
in health service, the problems are serious too, because they are
clossing a lot of operations rooms and this makes the waiting lists
grows longer and longer and people are dying before surgery.
Back
to the topic of unemployment, in Sapin the comunities which are more
affected are: Andalucia, Catalonia, Comunitat Valenciana and
Comunidad de Madrid. And sectors more afected are: construction,
administration, manufacturing and retail shops. Actually unemployment
arrives at 27% of Spain, I think that is a truly alarming number and
I hope this government puts a solution soon, because the future of
new generations will become worse. I think it will be terrible for
us, and worse to our children if we don't get a solution. Salaries
are becoming smaller and every time there are more and more people on
the streets because they have been driven away from their homes.

In this presentation I use different resourses, for example: Prezzi, images and a little information included in the prezzi, that supports a lot of my presentation, because it helps other students to understand better what you are saying in your presentation. I try to look and focus my eyes at two or three people or ty not to look at the ground. When you look at the public, you connect with people and they listen to you. Sometimes I look at the paper to remember some things and in some interventions I point out some thing of this work. (10%)

I organized my presentation with a logical structure: the introduction, the global information and finally the conclusions. The sentences were short and easy to understand and I used conectors to link sentences and phrases. If you have a good organization, you can understand better the presentation. (8%)

The objective of this work was to introduce and teach new information about unemployment. I think that, this objective was fulfilled. The book Christmas Carol tlaks about an old man, Scrooge. Scrooge has an office that before was awner by him and a friend, when his friend died, Scrooge was the only owner. Scrooge hates Christmas time because is the time when people spend more money and he doesn't spending money, he's very mean. This year Scrooge was visited by three ghosts: The ghost of Christmas past, of Christmas present and of Christmas yet to come.
The ghost of Christmas past shows him the time when he was young and he had to stay in the school for Christmas.The ghost of Christmas present shows him the family of this clerck, and he saw Bob's son, Timmy. And finally the ghost of Christmas yet to come shows him his tomb.
All this things makeing him change his mind and after he celebrate and sees Christmas time with other eyes.
This new talks about the last film of Star Trek "Into Darkness" that tops Us box office. This film despite their great success, failed to beat the oppening weekend of the previous Star Trek film, but left Iron Man 3 into second place and The Great Gatsby into third. This film collects about 70.6$ - 46.4M € over the weekend. The 2009 Star Trek film took $75.2m - 49.4M € approximately.
Personally I feel that the film "Into Darkness" of the series Star Trek has got a lot of followers because the number of spectators are really outsize and every year they have more and more followers. It's true that over the years heve been many film idols but, I think that Mr Spock remains a classic.
Apple has been accused of being among American's largest tax avoiders. Apples is accused because had used a complex web of offshore entities to avoid paying billions of dollars in US income taxes. The US Senate had said that Apple paid little or nothing on billions of dollars in profits placed in Irlish subsidaries.
Apple chief, Tim Cook will go before the panel of sudgest on Tuesday. In preparing testimony Apple said it didn't use tax gimmicks and the US Senate said there was no indication the firm acted illegally.
As far as I'm concerned that if Apple has acted in lucrative form they will repay all the money that have been saved avoiding payment of taxes in US. I hope all that will be a misunderstanding, because if this is true Apple could be affected. I think that they can lose a lot of buyers and inverstors.
Syrian government troops and rebels have faced each other around a prison in northern city of Aleppo. Reporters claim that the rebel fighters might have attempted to free the prisoners, it is estimated the prison, holds 4000 inmates. They counter-attacked using tank shells and air rails. The rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA) promised to punish criminals after it appeared a offensive video which showed a rebel biting a dead soldier's organs.
In Aleppo, rebels were still creating chaos detonating car bombs outside the walls prison.
Personally I feel that this conflict between rebels opposed to the gevernment of Baath and Syrian regular army should end because there are a lot of lives at stake. Most lives are innocent and not deserve to live in this terrible situation with many deaths and sufferings. I hope they find a solution very soon.

I like this song very much because I think that gives a lot of vitality. I like the songs that gives strenght because helps me to bee happy, nice, cheer... and help me to face difficult situations. This song show me that I have to fight for what ever I want and shows you that if you ever fall you must get up quickly.
In a official videoclip it's represents a cook fighting with toy animals. The toy animals fight until death, there are always one of the two that win always. Suddenly appears to ba like a toy animal which is inofensive looking, a the end wins.
This message is telling us that we must go forward and never look back.
Now I will talk about a problem that affects almost everybody, I'm talking about Chinese people. Nowadays there are a lot of "Bazars". I think that this ia a really big problem to us because, they buy or rent a lot of premises and they put the same type of bussines, selling the same things. If they put different bussines I think that would't be as bad, but in this way they compete with each other.
People rent theirs premises because Chinese people are really good payers and people who rent or sell they have no problems in getting their money, therefore owners are always keen to rent or sell to Chinese people.
A few days ago I expect to go to Wind Tunnel. I want do this very much because a lot of my friends alredy go and thay say that it's a really good experience,because you can feel like flying. I like it sports of risck very much , knowing new experiences and knowing my limits. In the Wind Tunnel of Empuriabrava, I know one of the coaches and I hope one day he will coach me because I feel will be safer and I think that it will be funnier and moer interesting if he was my coach, because he is an amusing guy who always likes to have fun.
In the next few days the fairs come to Figueres, a town next to my village. In these fairs there are a lot of atraccions, for the small and not so small people, a lot of places for eating for example, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, churros, coconut... and there are some stalls to buy some sweets and candy floss, candy apples, and other different sweets. Is a good place to meet friends or family and spend a good time.
After, at night, near the fairs there are a lot os stalls where you can buy drinks and there is stage where many musical groups play music all night.
Big Bang Theory it's a TV series about four scientists and their neighbour. Sheldon and Leonard work in the Institute of Technology in California. Leonard falls for Penny from the start. Penny is his neighbour, she is an aspiring actress.

In this TV series shows difficulties of all these scientists to interact with other people, especially with girls. It's really funny to see all of these problems that they have to talk to people that is out of their circle of friends and have a different character to them. All these people have a childhood trauma because their parents are really different from them or have lacked affection. The last aleteration mekes really crazy.
NY's city is a place on North America. I like this place because there are a lot of interesting buildings. I would like to travel there because I like flying over the Atlantic sea and get to know another continent and get to know their cultures.
This picture is from Ny city. In this foto you can see two main roads of this place. The roads are filled with modern and futuristic buldings, I think that it's quite amazing because there are a lot of colorful and striking billboards, morever they are really bright and the lights are flashing, and the buildings are very high. This picture seems active and noisy because there is a lot of people.
I think that this place smells damp because the road is wet.
To sum up I think that this place is good to visit for a short time but not for a long time because cities are stressing. People like me who I living in small communities I imagine to visit NY would be overhelming; I think when you have lived in quiet places to change to such big city it wouldn't be very good.
"Corpus" is a traditional feast in a lot of places but I know Salamanca and the villages around celebrate. I know about this celebration because my parents are from Salamanca and now I will explain some things about this feast as they celebrate it.
Corpus is a religious feast that people celebrate in summer, normally. In this celebration, the young people are organized in "peñas" with are groups of people that during this feat must live together in a old house. They must cook and act together. In this party people as a rule, drink a lot.
Another typical thing are the "encierros" or running of the bulls. In the village draw a route where the bulls will run until the arrive to the bull ring. Normally, in the route, the men run infront of the bulls, I think that they are some crazy.
And finally, in the bull ring, the bullfighters do "charlotadas". Charlotadas mean that many people jump into the bull ring and try to do the role of "torero" or bullfighter. After a while the bull get to the pens. Lukily in this feast finishes with processions of the Virgin Mary paraded round the village streest with maximum devotion.
Really this is not a good think for me because I hate seeing animals suffer and they a frightened by the hundereds of people.
The other celebrations are not too bad.
Now I want to talk about Gap Year, I had never heard about this topic until the other day in class. The teacher explained that the gap year is a tradition in England. She says that universities value this journeys, because they consider that after you have travelled you are more mature, in fact is really because you need to learn to live alone, without perents, only with some friends, but not always.
I would like to do a Gap year before to going university but, I think it would be really difficult to go back studying after a year idlying, in other words, without doing anything, but I like the idea of travelling, because you can meet a lot of new people. That is my opinion.
Legens are passed down form generation to generation because, in the past, when humans didn't have arguments to explain different problems about the world, they imagined creatures, good or bad creatures depending on the preblem, to explain this.
Humans created gods and bad creatures, because they were the best option to live well, calm and save.
Myths are deifferent depending on the country or state because the problems are difficult too. For example, Egypt didn't rain and humans asocied this a mythical creatures or gods. In London for examplle, it's raining every day, for this reason the myths are different. Another reason was the distance of two places and the culture.
Alba is my best friend. She is brown-eyed and brown long hair and a beautiful read muoth. She's very nice and beautiful, and she has got a friendly face.
When I met Alba, the firs time, she seemed rather shy and quite calm, but after spending more time with her, I descovered her true self. Alba is particulary frendly and very chatty. She seems a weak person but she is a really strong person and sometimes she is a bit bossy, she knows what she wants to do.
I like her personallity a lot but the best thing that I really like about Alba is her charming personality.

The colours of the Italian flag represent several things. Green colour represents the hope for an union of the country. On the other hand, white colour represents the Alps, and finally red colour represents the blood of the dead who died defending their nation.
Climate
In general the climate of this country is tempered, in the north the weather is colder than the south, because at the north there are mountains and in winter snow. In the south is hottest because there is coast.
Language
The most important language in here is Italian, but there are a lot of different languages for example:

-Tuscan
-Southem
Traditions
The most traditional dance is the tarantella. This dance is very active because you can’t stop dancing, as a result of you can’t move your legs. Tarantella from the south of Italy although this dance originated from Argentina.
The night of the end of year is called San Silvestre and the first day is called Capo Danno. A habit of this tradition that can't miss are lentils, this is equivalent to the twelve grapes. They say that if you eat a plate of lentils at midnight, you have a lot of money next year.
Another tradition is wear red lingerie on New Year's Eve.
Food
The Italian food is Mediterranean with a special aroma and flavor. The traditional food, as you know is pasta, for example: ravioles, fettuccinis, spagetty... acompanied by sauces. Another of their specialities food is pizza.
On the one hand, the common desserts are the tiramisu, panna cotta, ricotta tart and in particular the famous ice cream! This ice cream is the most famous because the ice-cream man have retained this office as a family tradition.

Italy have got a lot of cultural sites, the most important we visited were:

Conclusions
In short, this presentation wasn’t very hard because we had been there before. However, there isn't anymore accurate information, in Internet there are global information.
We have had a little problem with this country because we thought this country had the English language, but it isn’t and we have realized later.

We tried to look the audience the long time as possible, but nerves betrayed us some and, sometimes we looked the paper to remember some things, but even so I think that, it wasn't all bad. In some of our interventions, we point out some things of imagies. (7%)

We will try to control nerves and we be more confident with us and with our work.
In the last feew days, my frensds and I had to decide their reserch work. I think that it was a little dificult because you should find a topic that you really like as this work is very large and if you don't like this topic the work could be very boring.
I chose a topic in the biology field. The name of the research work will be "els remeis de l'àvia" I will have to study three or four plants with a medicinal, and to check if this plants are really medicinal and if they are medicinal, which type of medicine they carry and which composition.
I find it interesting and I want to start to work. I hope that the tutor of my research work will be Susi, She is my biology teacher because I faind that she is the right preson to take my work.
I hope that I find it easy to do and won't be boring.
Grammys Awards attract a total of 28.1 millon American audience, their second-biggest in 20 years on Sunday. They only obtinaed better audience last year when Whitney Houston died yesterday Grammys Awards. Audience increassed because the organizers introduced perforn while the speeches were made.
In this ceremony were awared Adele, The Black Keys, Diversión. Gotye and Mumford and Sons.
Nevertheless the whole audience that saw the Grammys Awards, is was very small compared with the Super Bowl audence.
Summiring up, Grammys Awards attacted very good audience and collected a lot of money, is true that it was small compared to the Super Bowl that had 108 millions watching only in USA and 164.1 millions in the match.
I saw a little part of the Grammys Awards and it was very nice, the performances were amazing and pasionate, the musicians were happy and excited. It was very nice and amusing to watch.
This film is about two young people, a girl and a boy. They met a day when the girl was walking a long the beach and the boy was playing american football with his friends. The boy shot the ball and hit the girl. After that they began to go out together. All was good and decided to get married, because they in love. The girl's was from parents didn't felt agree, because the boy was from the lower social class and they were rich, but finaly they were married. They went to Italy for honey-moon, but the journey was very bad, because they were argung all the time, and an ex-boyfriend of the girl was getting bettwin their relation ship and finaly they decide to let it go, and return home. In the end they returned together because they realized they couldn't stay apart.
The new sony news is the thinnest tablet computer of its kind. This new tablet will be thinner 0.01. This tablet will be water-resistant and lightest, because it will weigh 450g. And this this tablet will be dust-resistent because it wears plastic cover to protect as Xperia Z smartphone.
The two Sony are designed to work together, all the documents can be share only to waving the phone.
These new devices will be great progress in the world of tecnology. It amazes me how much technology advances every day, both in the field of leisure and in that of the industry. In my opinion, news of technology are always good news because never know when you will need this new devices, that actually we used only for leisure, if we can will use for something more serious like medicine, for example.

I firs time I met Alba
was when we began ESO in IES Castelló d'Empúries. I had never seen
her before and initially we didn't talk a lot. We began to talk when
the teacher made us sit together. I was so shy at the beginning, but
when I gain confidence, I try to be friendly. Little by little we
became friends, I talk to her abuot my problems, friends, hobbies,
dreams... And She tells me hers. We discovered that we think alike.
I love her very much, I
think that she is the best person that I have know. She is very nice,
friendly, happy... I like stay with her because I feel that with her
by my side everything is easier.

On the one hand they are opposed to this because they think that computers are bad to the eyes of children. The parents knows that children are exposed to many hours of computersscreen and this can bring about headache and eyestrain. Eventually children should wear glasses.
On the other hand, computers can be an advantage because students will be able to search a lot of information, graphycs, images... and other things, but computers have disadvantatges, the bad connection LAN, for example. There are many computers and the LAN crashes.
One thing that I like about books is that you can underline and take notes on it, this is really advantagerous and practical.
In conclusion, I think that the best option is paper because it is the option that has more advantages.
I wove like to write this letter to you because I want to tell you the good and the bad things in this high school.
To begin with I would start talking about the colour of the classes and school in general. I think that If the classes were painted in happier colours, students would go to class more motivated than now.
On the one hand I think that digital whiteboards aren't useful because the teachers spend a lot of time programming it and sometimes the whiteboards get hot and we can't work with them. Personally I think that the old blackboards were better. But on the other hand new whiteboards are very useful to show the students images, graphic, videos.. and other visual material.
The new law of this centre say that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late at the high school you can't go in the class you have to stay out. In my opinion I think that this new law it is bad for the sudents bacause they will miss out on many classes, probably important for them, and this may affect their studies.
And I think that this is all that I would change in this centre. Thanks for listening to me.

year for holidays I have been to Marina d'Or with my family.
We have visited a ot of places and I have known a
lot of people too.
One
of the places that we have visited and I like it better was a
park with a lot of benches, ponds, scultures... I don't remember now
the name of this place but was very beautiful. Other thing that I
like about this place is because was located next to the beach and was
very nice to heard the sea.
Are place that I have visited, this time with my sister only, was
a water park. I have never been to a water park as empty as this.
There I met a very friendly boy, He was the monitor of the water park, I
supposed it was because it was winter.
We also have visited La Ciudad De
Las Ciencias in Valencia. Has been a very nice experience to visit this place because we heve seen
a lot of things.
